It's realy weird to be back in California after all these years. It's been around fifteen since I left, and I've been sticking fairly close to the coast to stay away from all the dusty places I used to haunt. I don't think we'll cut too far inland until we get to Ojai, the place where I grew up.
Krista keeps wanting to stay in the same place for a couple of days, and I just keep wanting to move on. We stayed in Eureka, Petaluma, and now Half Moon Bay. It's on to Monterey today, and I might just stay there for a while before moving further south. Unless I get restless.

I don't know why there is a rule that conference hotels must have terrible internet service. I could not upload a thing for the duration of my stay in Seattle at the Westin (a nice hotel otherwise).
